The Pink Ribbon Symposium proudly presents events with sponsorship opportunities to support our mission of breast cancer awareness and making healthy lifestyle choices.
What's New in 2017?
This year we proudly celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of Pink Ribbon Symposium on October 7th, 2017 at Moosehaven Retirement Community! In addition to our educational workshops and exhibitor booths, the event will feature the Jacksonville Harmonic Chorus, a car show, a special presentation by AARP, and other activities for this festive occasion.
Award winning news anchor Jeannie Blaylock, a breast cancer champion and community leader, will speak about “The Importance of Knowing Your Body.” Break-out sessions will focus on updates on breast cancer, and information on leading healthy lifestyles. Annually, the expo features over 50 exhibitors and welcomes over 400 attendees. We are proud to have grown this event into a health and wellness conference open to the entire community. CME and CEU credits for physicians and nurses attending the conference are also offered.
In 2017, our organization will also host 2 other major events:
- On Saturday, June 3rd, the 3rd Annual Pink Ribbon Symposium Survivors Celebration Butterfly 5K Run/Walk will be held at the Orange Park Kennel Club with a scenic route on River Road. The first week in June is Cancer Survivors Week, so we will celebrate ALL survivors, and anyone can participate. We are recognized as a National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation event.
- We will be announcing the date for the 3rd Annual Hahas for Tatas, a fundraiser benefiting PRS at a local comedy club. The fun-filled evening will include a welcome reception, comedy show and refreshments. Individual tickets and sponsor tables will be available.
Thank you for carefully considering your level of participation with Pink Ribbon Symposium, and becoming a growing part of the Breast Cancer Awareness and Wellness communities in Northeast Florida. We would be thrilled if you could join us in celebrating our 10th Anniversary by becoming a sponsor this year.
